BareMinerals The Secret's Out Blush Review, Photos, Swatches

As you may have noticed in the past three months I have been experimenting with some lovely mineral makeup products. After using up my Jane Iredale's blush in Cotton Candy (post here) in less than two months (it is only 2.8 gr), I decided to try a blush from the bareMinerals Ready range and I picked up The Secret's Out.
Here is my review.

BareMinerals The Secret's Out Blush

The Secret's Out is described as a soft violet. It is a rosy pink with subtle plum undertones, perfect for brightening up my warm pale completion in a natural way (think of lightly blushing after having been revealed a secret) and perfect for Autumn/Winter.

The texture is slightly powdery but very finely-milled and velvety to the touch. It is also easy to blend and build up to the desired intensity with a soft brush. The small brush included is a tad too soft and if on the one hand it allows for a foolproof application, on the other hand it takes quite a few strokes to build up the colour. In fact I prefer using my Bobbi Brown Blush brush to apply this cheek powder. On me this blush lasted for about 8 hours as claimed by bareMinerals. Overall I am quite pleased with this blush and I would recommend it.
