BareMinerals Original Mineral Veil VS Mineral Veil SPF 25

Which bareMinerals Mineral veil is best? The Original Mineral veil or the SPF25 one? Read more to find out.

bareMinerals Mineral veils are lightweight mineral finishing powders to lock in your makeup. They differentiate from most loose powders because they contain fewer, simpler and more natural ingredients like for example corn starch.
Original Mineral Veil ingredients: Zea Mays (Corn Starch), Corn Starch Modified, Zinc Stearate, Magnesium Stearate. May Contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499).

bareMinerals Minerals veils do a good job at absorbing oils and softening your completion like most loose powders can do but I do not find them essential to use on top of a powder foundation, which is in fact already absorbent.

My favourite Mineral Veil is the Original one for the translucent and almost airbrushed finish that it imparts. Mineral Veil SPF 25  is not as light as the original one and can look a bit whitish and cakey because of the SPF ingredient Titanium Dioxide.
Mineral Veil SPF 25 ingredients: Zea Mays(Corn) Starch, Corn Starch Modified, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Zinc Stearate, Silica, Magnesium Stearate. (+/-): Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499).

For a totally invisible, longlasting and truly airbrushed finish I prefer using Nars Light Reflecting Setting Powder (review here).
